    It's a joke fight.

That being said it's probably a top 5 name on his resume now

    Martin, Brezeale, Whyte, Molina.

Wilder is about to get embarrassed when AJ stops this dude earlier than him.

**** take of a fight but to be fair, finding a last minute replacement wouldn't have been easy for Hearns and he is the best available it seems. Plus he's an upgrade on all the fighters AJ has faced so it ticks that box...only just though!
AJ is in the top bracket now but making those top tier fights for him is proving tough. Division is all over the place at the moment but IMO Joshua is the unified champ in waiting.
He beats everyone in the division, Fury included.

And yet his resume is still better than Wilders.

Joshua has had 17 fights, when did Wilder fight Molina? After how many fights?

It's a poor fight, I'm not pretending it good but you have to take in to consideration who has turned a fight with Joshua down, Pulev did, Klitschko eventually did, Parker has gone down the WBO route when he was mandatory.

Who else is there right now? It's better than David Price, far better so the way I'll see it is it could have been far worse.

Garbage fight but I understand the time pressure they were under after Wlad pulled out.

What Wilder have to do with anything?

If you want to know how many fights it took Wilder to fight Molina check on boxrec.

It is a poor fight. correct.

Who else is there? What about the man fighting on the undercard? Luis Ortiz?

I said it's a poor fight, no real argument on that front but other world champions/fighters have poor fights, Wilders had a career full of poor fights so I think it's a little bit harsh to criticise Joshua when Pulev turned it down, Wladimir pulled out and his mandatory Parker decided to go in a different direction.

Luis Ortiz isn't ranked in the top 15 in the IBF so it can't be made, so another suggestion?

Not harsh at all. I criticised Wilder for fighting him as well. The win over Adamek is decent though.

How do you know it can't be made?

I cba looking through the ibf rankings listing all those more deserving than Molina.

It is what it is, a **** fight worthy of criticism.

The IBF rankings look like this

    1 Parker
    2 Pulev
    3 Haye
    4 Duhaupas
    5 Ruiz
    6 Takam
    7 Glazkov
    8 Molina
    9 Miller
    10 Chisora
    11 Martin
    12 Price
    13 Ugonoh
    14 Fury
    15 Teper

    Parker gone WBO route
    Pulev turned it down
Haye is eyeing the WBA and isn't forcing a Joshua fight right now
Duhaupas would have been my choice
Ruiz fighting Parker for the WBO title
Takam decent enough, Parker beat him recently, would give Joshua rounds
Glazkov there is zero interest in him, try and sell that on a PPV
    Molina
    Miller apparently has contract issues
Chisora is bang average and is not far away from fighting Whyte
Martin would anybody want to see that again?
    Price JUST NO

And the rest are not ready in my opinion.

    It's better than price.

I thought they would go for miller or Jennings over molina.

Considering the circumstances it's not the worst.
AJ blasts him out in 3 rounds.
Stick price on the undercard against Cornish

Well Ortiz would have to be ranked by the IBF to fight for the title.

So you criticise the fight/opponent but can't be bothered to actually look who is available at this time.

I do not understand that sort of logic, if you are going to criticise them you should at least have a better suggestion instead of just throwing names around that are not possible.

How do you know he had to be?

You criticised it also. Which names do you deem as better and possible?
