I think it comes down to greed moreso than Fury being scared of Price lol.
I really hope Price doesn't lower himself and start to beg for it, he himself should be keeping busy, he's said himself he wants to be world champ, why not get a bit more active even if it does mean fighting lesser opponents for now. ( But if anyone needs to hurry up and step up, it is Price, he's basically 30,and nowhere near as good to have the longevity either brother have )

I cannot believe people are defending Fury on this matter , the guy vacated his titles to avoid Pricey and is doing everything possible " not " to fight the guy !!!!! , besides , Price is a much better fighter ....................

Yeah but what's also clear now is that the supposed reason for it not to happen was because of the TV deals, which is clearly not the case.

They have no interest in a price fight not because of tv deals or money. More so the fact that fury might lose.

That's the essence of a duck.

no it's not, he has better options! sure people on here might want to see the fight but it is what it is, he can fight a guy that's not really that well known or he can fight a former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek, which looks a better W right now on his record?

Compared to Fury yes, ask the average person in the street, no one has heard of Price.

    Take your scouse specs off.

    Agreed.

Price has been badly mismanaged since he turned professional.

The fact that a British champion (at any weight) is a nobody is pretty sad. The best way for young prospects to gain publicity and a following is to fight on terrestrial - but promoters are all about short term gain, penny wise pound foolish.

Fury holds all the cards - he's the one with the following and a more impressive record to date, regardless of whether people feel Price would beat him or not.

    How many times.

It is really ****ing simple for all those that are saying about Maloneys TV deal.

Price is signing managers terms with Maloney and protional terms with Matchroom.

The reason this fight is not happening is that one or both of Tyson and fat mick no that he will get knocked out.

And for the above person saying that Fury has already beaten McDermott.....

You are right. But he had also lost to him.

Price chinned him in a round!!!

I'm not too fussed if they don't fight now, a year down the line or more would be spot on, if they keep winning of course.

My £ will be on Pricey.

    I hope so.

Last I heard he was made an offer, a good one too, plus Audley to look good against, and he turned it down.

I find it hard to imagine that Sky aren't bothered about him, they just don't want to throw money at Maloney, who is reticent to make big fights on a regular basis.

it's not a choice of Adamek or Price though, is it ? :patsch

He was British champ and Price was served up next and they vacated the friggin title and made excuses about TV5 as to why he couldnt fight him
he did that all by himself.

then he fights Rogan and Maddalone whom 50yr old Evander KOed in 2 rounds.

its too hard a fight for Fury at this moment and he will dodge it no matter what cause he might lose,. and he will give up titles if thats what it takes to make this man disapper for some more months

    thats ducking

Baloney is a **** promoter, Price isn't fighting until mid October, he's only boxed 5 rounds in the last year! He has to be busier.
