So why couldn't Broner counter a slow and predictable Marcos ? I've seen nothing to suggest Broner has any power at 147. Are you comparing Garcia (arguably one of the best at 140) to Broner ? Broners wins were always as a result of size advantage, at 147 he's had a questionable decision over Paulies corpse, and was schooled and beaten senseless by Gatekeeper Maidana.
I'm saying Khan is over aggressive and doesn't commit to his punches well which leaves him to get countered alot. I guess i should compare Julio Diaz to Garcia also seeing how he made the same mistakes.
Maidana was bigger man and he has got better since his fight with Khan, if that's what you're trying to hint at.
Agree 100% Khans fast hands and punchers didnt bother career lightweight Julio Diaz Or the guy before that fight, 16 fights Molina; Khan struggled in the Diaz fight. So how does he deserve top fights?
You smoking some of that dumb ****......Broner vs Khan is the quintessential "styles make fights" post card. Don't get me wrong Broner has a shot due to Amir's weak chin......but in every other area Khan holds all the advantages. Amir is a shifty fighter who moves a lot and Iis extremely fast. Khan is taller, longer and bigger. Amir is also a busy fighter. The only chance Broner has is if Khan languishes on the inside for too long which would allow Adrien to crack his chin.....which is possible because Amir sometimes fights like he's got the beard of James Toney.
I cant help thinking that a 147lb Broner is like a Cat in a Dogs Home...which direction will he go in...Khan..Thurman..Porter...Alexander...Collarzo.... Robert the Ghost... would all be straining at the leash and licking their lips...at the thought of a tasty Brone for the Burying....Even Rios or Carson Jones would be happy to join this Kennel Club.
Broner will most likely take an easy fight after a devastating loss and it's totally acceptable and understandable. There's no reason to go for broke against a risky opponent when he's still young and has potential to return from a loss like that. As far as Collazo, Thurman, Alexander and Porter are concerned, lets hope Khan aims for them.
