Saw this on Twitter. Anybody else heard anything? Apparently Leather is taking time away from boxing and is no longer trained by Gary Lockett. Hope it's not true, I was looking forward to this fight. If it is true, then this Warren card at the O2 is falling apart.
I dont know if this is true yet obviously... But what is it about Warrens stable of fighters the amount of pull out and cancellations that happen on his cards is abnormal.
BTW The person who tweeted this is quite a credible source I think. It's a guy from the nuthouse boxing asylum podcast, if anyone listens to that.
I'm going to be laughing my head off when I see those empty seats. Without BJS this is an absolute disaster. It was already a 50-50 on whether it would even come close to selling out, and that's with BJS in. Without him, I doubt it'll beat Okolie-Chamberlain for attendance...(Although thankfully, the fights won't be as disgustingly bad as that) Removing Flanagan-Hooker was bad enough, but to then lose BJS, and now have Yarde vs Bum, Dubois vs Bum and Martin Murray vs probably Bum...I mean..this is fit for York Hall, not the O2 arena...
Not seen much hype for this one and always talking OD v Catterall etc so this would make sense Shame as this was a good 50-50 fight
i kind of feel sorry for Frank here, it wasn't a bad card to begin with, now, it's a york hall card. were they selling tickets on the top tier as well or did they close it off?
A decent replacement at short notice. I've said it many times, but Frank really needs to hire a young, ambitious, streetwise events manager. Somebody responsible for organising and marketing his events. The London shows are collapsing Into shambles.
It’s a great fight, never mind as a last minute replacement! This is better than the original. Props to the Warren team for pulling this out the bag.
