Injured - yes. Will pull out - no. More chance of Bellew pulling out of AJ's arsehole after he's been on commentary duty.
If only he had taken his career seriously after the loss to Wladimir instead of trying to be a z list British "star".
this. and i thought he was a clever guy at the time but he messed his money up quicker than the american boxers famous for financial idiocy.
Yea Haye is going in on a zimmer frame if need be. Last little pot of gold. For that reason, I 100% won't buy. Going in injured is a step too far.
If the source came from Haye's camp it makes me wonder if it's just mind games. It wouldn't be the first time. It's definitely worrying though and would shock noone.
Wouldn't be a shock. Said it before, Haye has a broken body and getting through 12 weeks of camp is a struggle for him.
as much as i hate what he turned himself into, i still feel sorry for him, in a sporting sense. this was a brilliant athlete who could box, never turned up unprepared and gave his all, well, with one horrendous high profile exception perhaps. but with hindsight, he talked himself into that wlad fight that mentally he was no where near prepared for. A shame that injuries like these have taken their toll. but i really cant take pleasure in seeing someone who adds something to sport struggle with them. even if he does act like a total helmet and i laughed watching wlad bully him for 12 rounds. he really was a very good cruiser with a good record, one of the uks best. i still think valuev beat him though.
he comes across very well at times, and totally odd at others. seems to make some sensible decisions, then seems to make terrible, decisions. im fairly certain getting punched in the head for a living is not good for your neurological health.
Might lump on Bellew again...the rumours last time that he claimed to have planted turned out to be true...unless it was a coincidence the rumour was about an Achilles injury and that snapped...
Not a surprise really. Haye is done. Physically he is finished. He should box patiently this time, get the win say by late stoppage or even on points, take the payday, and get out of this sport. He won't beat anyone good now.
