Google images of that fight. The foot wear is barely above Haye's ankles FFS.

Bellew has far higher boxing boots!!!! Infact Bellews boots are the kind you would wear if you had problems in that area!!!

Sounds like he had a tendon strain going in...explains the dragging the foot and seeing a specialist about his Achilles beforehand...

 

Jesus Christ,he went to Germany a couple of days before the fights,to see what/who,a Surgeon who Specialises in none other than Archilles Injuries.It dosent take rocket science,Also a dragged out ring walk,the way he was walking debunks the myth he wasnt.But then one thing that makes me agree with you,is im the sure the doctor said not to waste energy or Weight on that Right foot but he done exactly that by swinging wildy a bit like Wilder so i'd still give it a 8/10 he was Injured

Part of me does feel sorry for Haye, the guy is desperate for cash, he’s made a series of bad investments and gone through a divorce and it’s his desperation to keep up an elite lifestyle that he’s going to force himself in to the ring and take another defeat for the simple reason he HAS to.

I like Tony Bellew, he’s a character and a world champion, a guy who has dragged himself from the streets of Liverpool and claimed the mountain but a prime David Haye would decapitate him.

 

Sad but the Truth,Haye will regret what he has/about to do,the effects of those injuries when his body is telling him NO dont fight will probably mean he will not be able to enjoy the fruits of his labour that all boxers deserve.If i was Bellew i would actually feel sorry for Dave.

 

Haye is so desperate that he will make it to the ring even if he has to be wheeled out. I felt sorry the first time, but not if it happens again.

Hearn & Sky are likely going to bring the sport into is disrepute if the rematch goes down the way I think it does...an injured Haye unable to fight properly but everybody turning a blind eye and hoping to get away with it so they can shaft the public for more PPV.

 

Hearn's spin means nothing to me after deceiving all those PPV mugs to part with their money expecting 50/50 fights when we boxing fans know that 95% of the PPVs are dog poo.

Haye is permanently injured and can forget about his PPV against Tony Dosh - this fight against Chicken Bellew is his last PPV fight so he will not pull out even if he needs a mobility scooter to get to the ring.

 

Bet he wishes he had one of Wlads self made rings, they are so comfy and spongy, the perfect place for a lie down when he gets sparked.

Joking aside, this guy has been around forever, and personally i think the "CAT" should get on this...

 

He started boxing from the age of 10....so do the maths - 27 years punching different things and getting into shape invariably takes its toll on him, especially being an explosive puncher.

If he is doesn't suffer from major pain in shoulders/achilles and those parts function ok then he should ko bellew, if not he will lost again.
