    Just when I thought he couldn't seem any more stupid. Marquez? Did you really want to fight Marquez, Amir?
    Also, Khan himself said the other day that he isn't interested in moving up to 147 yet, as he would find it very hard to come backdown to 140 afterwards, yet he expects Senchenko and Bradley to do it? :patsch

    Lopez was the perfect fight at welterweight for Khan if he wanted to move up
    Khan coulda came in at 144-145 Lopez woulda probably came in at 146
    Lopez isnt a legit welterweight so it isnt like he would rehydrate loads

    no one is free at jr ww im guessin thats why he wanted a catch weight fight in the first place

    As far as I understand, Marquez is really a free agent, beholden to no one past his last bout. He aligns with the promoter on a fight by fight basis. Ala Cotto, Mayweather, etc.

    Lopez was 165 against Alvarez so i am pretty sure he would rehydrate a bit.

    Fights that could be made and showtime might pick up are:
    Paul Spadafora
    Humberto Soto
    Karim Mayfield
    Mauricio Herrera
    Ajose Olusegun
    Serhiy Fedchenko
    Ricardo Williams Jr

    and there a punch of guys at Jr WW in the UK that are free at the moment.
    One of them will take it. Olusegun himself called Khan out.

    Marquez has the WBO belt at 140lb?

    Vargas always said he wanted to fight Khan so why not now?

    The names he's said all are exciting.. he's calling the names we would like to see him with... diff styles diff problems.

    The names I would like him to fight are

    Peterson...Prescott and then Danny.

    Khan wants to fight the best, yet still gets criticised. At least he isn't blatantly ducking everyone.

    Guess you did not read the post just before yours!

    There are several of legitimate opponents in his own weight class for Khan to call out, rather than fighting lightweights, or playing the old Roach/Pacquiao game of enticing a heavier man to drain down to a catch weight.

    That does not constitute "fighting the best".

    Lopez was so bloated for that fight that extra weight probably just made him slower
    man id love to see him fight Olusegun, after the heart he showed against Matthysse he deserves another big fight
    Ajose would ko him tho
