"idiot" whats with the name-calling? i thought that you were beyond that. and that sparring is recent for the trout fight. go to the scene and check it out. so what youre saying is that canelo is 5'8.5" why on earth would someone need to find a "tall lefty" to spar in preperation for trout who is only 5'9.5"? no one...not anyone would ever be remotely concerned with a height and reach difference of one inch 5'9.5" and 72" vs. 5'8.5" versus 71" . and as for you "havent seen anyone claim he is 5'9" you made that claim here on this thread, http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=395025&page=2 you dont remember this thead do you? when you put me on your ignore list and sent me that threatening and vulgar private message because i brought to light to everyone here that canelito is only 5'7". if trout is indeed 5'9.5" and canelo has consciously brought in a "tall lefty" in preparation for trout as his manager proclaimed then one can formulate thier own conclusions that trout woulld have to be at least two inches taller if canelo and his camp borught in someone "tall" to help canelito assimilate to the height discrepancy. you would think, right? now please, no more name-calling as were trying to have a respectful debate here. i know the stress of canelo having to finally fight a legit 154 must be very taxing on you at this very moment but plese try to maintain your composure.
ive told you before that i wont have any excuses and have already given props to canelo for taking this fight...the best fight for the first half of 2013. i dont make excuses after a fight. i either cash a ticket or throw it in the trash. just another day at the office.
Palm Springs is about two hours from where I live. Even world-level boxers aren't guaranteed unanimous support from their hometowns though; Margarito was born in my hometown (Torrance), and he didn't/doesn't have many fans there; could be because he never really acknowledged his roots from the city and instead hyped up being Mexican.
