Archie Moore made his pro-debut in 1935. In 2002 Larry Holmes had his last fight. They had one opponent in common, Muhammad Ali, who linked the span of 67 years!

    Can you beat that?

That's impressive. I wonder if it could be topped. Holyfield is still active, and fought Foreman. If Holy fights an up and comer who goes on to have a long career, that would be a decent span. Doubt it could match 67 years though :D

edit; Foreman's debut was 69. Holy would, I believe, have to fight someone who continues to fight until 2036

There's a good chance Holyfield will still be fighting in 2036.

I hate to tempt fate, but something tells me Holyfield will never fight again.

I tried Fitz, Johnson and Bearcat Wright but only got from 1885-1936,(51 years) that 67 years is incredible!

I tried to top it with a Chuvalo-Foreman-Briggs triad, but couldn't.
