Two fairly big upsets in the Philippines this morning...

Yeah, Melligen probably was never going to do even half as well as his bigger (in age and physical size - and talent) brother. He only had those knockouts of that pair of Thais last year as far as remotely notable victories, and some of his losses are ugly. In fact, pretty much all except to Sismundo.

Still, he probably wasn't "supposed" to lose to Rufino, who might be a little better than his record but not by too much and has also never really beaten anyone...plus his one-dimensionality and stylistic limitations and shaky chin...

The more shocking one definitely was Laurente over Demecillo.
