Vyacheslav Glazkov v Alonzo Butler - 3 August Amir Mansour v Maurice Harris - 23 August What do people think of these fights? Sensible comeback opponent for Glazkov against a solid C level fighter. Mansour should stop Harris and further his march towards contention.
Not bad fights. Glazkov is coming back from a fight he lost regardless of what the judges said and Butler is an ok fighter. He hasn't fought much at all in years but he should still be a decent opponent for Glazkov. If Jennings can't get a big fight I think Jennings-Glazkov would be a good fight and fit for NBC. Harris has pulled some upsets in his career so I wouldn't write him off with Mansour but I do think Mansour stops him. He's going to be 41 by fight time so he really needs to land a big fight while he still has time.
Interesting.. Mansoer should be able to find harris's chin and I see Glazkov winning a wide decision or stopping Butler late.
Should be a relatively easy fight for both. Glazzy didn't do very well against Scotty, but Butler is clearly a lesser boxer with a lot of ringrust I might add. And harris is much better as his record indicates, but old man Mansour has the man's Kryptonite and that's power. So I guess that will not go beyond 4.
Luis Ortiz is up against TBA on the 20th. His strategy for getting a big money fight may be to get to 25-0 then play on that.
Mansour should beat Harris easy. Harris is all four tires are flat-head gasket busted-windshield shattered-beyond shot. Mansour needs to step it up soon and fight a live body.
