You're too good for this forum, you deserve better. Just saying. :good

Said it before, and I'll say it again: All the guys who step into that ring for a living deserve respect, even the journeymen with full time regular jobs. It's a dangerous and demanding sport.

Respect to your post. It's great.

It's one of the most fascinating things I've ever seen seeing these people reduced to bawling 12 year olds or mental cases because a fighter lost fair and square to another fighter because he was effectively controlled at range, which was plain for everybody with a pair of eyes to see, that's why he lost and he had no speed advantage and couldn't figure another way out. It doesn't mean Manny isn't an ATG or can't trouble Floyd, it means what it means for that particular fight, that's it... he lost, Mayweather won. One man loses, one man wins, this happens because he was unable to win many rounds... why on earth is it so difficult to digest.

Bravo! Very well said. This is really unique to boxing, even other combat sports don't have this level of intolerance for a loss. I can't understand why so many boxing fans are so completely irrational about boxing in general, especially on issues like this. You don't see that nearly as much with other sports. Good post:good

Hopefully Antoine Douglas can learn from his experience with Khurtsidze, that was a brave and valiant performance he put on in spite of the fact that he had no chance, he was 23, way too soon to be put in there with a beast like that, they made a similar mistake with him as what happened with Lemieux.

But just like David he can fully recover, bounce back and improve as well.

Still applies, because both guys will most likely end up being called bums in the fallout. So both guys actually lose something, unless its a blatant robbery.
