Ain't happening. Someone else mentioned golden boy has that date at MGM, I doubt they'll give it up to Floyd after he walked away like a bitter gf.

 

A personal check can change that quickly.

 

800-900K may be a tank by his standards, but not by the standards of boxing PPV's in general.

 

Who are "they," exactly?

Because I've read a bunch of interviews with the top brass at Showtime. They directly speak to that claim. They deny and use words like "ridiculous" to explain the rumor that Showtime needs 1.5M buys to break even.

its hard to believe floyd cant find an opponent yet, after all haymond has such a great stable full of ppv draws...maybe a money team fighter , they also have big draws, right??

Every time I hear a different "they need to make x amount of PPVs just to break even"

Then you question them, and they say "God Dont you realise how much it costs them to promote a fight" to which I reply "do you?"

I really cant see the highest paid Athlete not making Show time money. And if he is the highest Paid Athlete in the world, and Show time are losing money, do you really think he, or us should care?
