man i haven't seen a progayer post in a while since he's blocked .. he's still a wannabe gay accountant who makes up numbers as if they are fact, just like he claimed Macau paid over 30+ million to promote the Pac-Rios fight ... his argument was when it flopped, it didn't matter, pac made his money ... why is it a different argument when it's Mayweather?

How about you just keep posting about Floyd Mayweather like you've been doing for hours on end every single day for as long as you've been registered here. You and I both know that's what you're gonna do anyway. You're like a heroin addict, but your heroin is posting about Floyd. :yep

    Floyd had an opponent...Maidana.

But because the first fight flopped for Showtime, we won't see a rematch. It's a sad state of things, but Showtime was too stupid.

And without a promotional backing, Floyd himself is in limbo. The Golden Boy promotional fee just went up and Showtime is even more afraid to take a risk.

Floyd NOT FIGHTING is actually better for Showtime right now.

Progamer is the biggest *****/******* on this site (along with a few others). You fail to include companies who pay to have ads, gate $ & much more. If sho is loosing money on Floyd as you claim I can't imagine how much pac has buried top rank and hbo seeing how his ppvs have all flopped since jmm4 when he got put in nap time.

Make the Pac fight and all will be well. This is what all this ppv stuff is all about. People want to see these two get in the ring against each other not anyone else and the ppv is showing. Floyd ran his scam for awhile but people are on to it and they arent buying. 2 of his last 3 ppv have done less than 1 million buys and the other did 2.5 million and its pretty safe to say that those numbers had a lot to do with canelos huge following.

Floyds best option is Pac or Cotto in Sept. Anyone else no one is interested.

NOPE, they lose more money paying Pac! Pac wants $40M or more and that fight will generate ONLY 2X the revenue as a Maidana fight. Maidana gets paid $1.5M. How does fighting Pac help the situation for SHO? If anything the ******* argument that Pac deserves 50/50 makes it a loss for sure. So if you believe the *******s like Progayer the fight doesn't make sense when you can pay the Guerreros, Ortiz pennies compared to dollars.

that is not known, no guarantee and you dont know who gets that.

that's ~1.4k is a ballpark figure. could go lower or higher depending on the oppoent, undercard purses, how many episodes theyre gonna do for full access etc etc.

point is, you clearly have an idea how many buys theftjr's fights need to make just to breakeven.

guererroa fight was widely reported to have cost choketime red 12kk. pretty sure m adona fight wasnt far off.

now both choketime and theftjr will be squeezed farther by oscar asserting himself as the gbp head in dealings with future fights.

i heard madona's contract is being revised.

btw, pac's guarantee is somewhere in the 20kk range. thats less than 600k buys. looks very doable to me.

now tr and hbo are poised to tap the asian market for additional ppv buys.

pac's ppv outlook isnt as rosy as before but not as bleak as theftjr's and choketime's

30kk figure was reported, not exact but ballpark figure.

wrong. pac's first macau fight was subsidized by venetian, guaranteeing him non-taxable purse.

venetian reportedly made 200kk in gaming in the week leading to the pac fight.

pac reportedly brings the high rollers even in vegas. most of these high rollers are from asia.

venetian made their money off the gaming. pac made his from venetian.

ppv was presumably split between between tr, hbo and venetian.

how they split them i dont know.

    gate prolly went to venetian.

everyone made money even if the ppv buys wasnt as stellar.

    choketime;s business model is different.

it's too reliant on ppv buys.

mgm doesnt guarantee any on theftjr's purse because theftjr doesnt bring high rollers from asia.

theftjr made his money, pokemon made his.

choketime didnt, and from the looks of it, gbp didnt or barely broke even.

liek i said, choketime's business model is crambling.

theftjr now bordering on a has-been.

After having been owned by Slowdana, he's scared of EVERYONE.

But it will probably be Garcia, a guy that has NEVER fought in his weight class, that is coming from a boxing SCHOOLING from Herrera and that barely managed to survive a technically limited brawler with only one eye.

Same flaws you point out against Floyd can be pointed out against pac in a more drastic way. You can't deny that. Pac's stock has gone down big time since ktfo6. Bob has contributed to the down fall by his lack of promotion.

You can talk about how Floyds fights flopped, how he is making shotime loose money, but pac is ×3 worse off then Floyd in every aspect. Floyd has guaranteed contract money as long as he delivers 6 fights, no matter how bad they flop he still gets paid. Pac on the other hand is taking bobs c*ck with no ****. Getting paid peanuts compared to Floyd and still owning top rank.
