In the interviews Joshua mentioned to names that surprised me a little bit. When asked to rate the fight among his best fights, he said "my first fight with Klitschko was the best". Now recently there was rumours about Klitschko returning which makes me think right now... Will there be a second fight? When asked about Wilder/Fury he said he's not going to chase them anymore, he did enough and lost focus doing it. If they want to fight him they should come and offer something real. Wilder, Fury, Ortiz and Usyk. Sounds like an invitation to get the Ortiz fight done, probably in the USA. Don't believe to see AJ-Ruiz III next. So what Options does he have apart from Pulev? Usyk just had 1 fight in Heavyweights...
He will most probably fight Pulev and this is the best decision for him. Otherwise Hearn will be a total i******. Pulev is a solid fighter, but he posses szero threat to Joshua. And Joshua need a fight like this one, where he will shine with a solid KO victory and not pushing himself to the limit on the training ground, cause you can`t do that all the time without consequences. The smart business is Pulev in UK. He need to do 2-3 fights to bring his confidence level to 100% again, before fighting Wilder/Fury. Joshua has the time and belts now, so he is in the perfect position.
Joshua-Whyte will happen, but I think its not happening anytime soon. Pulev is probably the next fight and then he's gonna try again in the USA.
I dont want to see another Klitschko fight. Klitschko will get absolutely annihilated. He looked old and slow in the first fight, it's been 2 and half years since and he'd been even slower not to mention the ring rust.
