Maybe it's a minor belt but it will open doors for Lyndon.

Maybe a 3rd decisive fight with Yarde if he wins...

    Open doors for Lyndon lol

They're open for him but he just closes them and runs in the opposite direction

He was meant to fight Callum smith but ducked him like he ducks everyone, Dan Azeez been calling him out for the longest time and Lyndon doesn't say a peep. He has a record 95% made up of foreign bin men

Scared to challenge himself, just wants easy knock over jobs, he's not a real fighter. Shown that when he quit against Yarde

A minor title is better than Zip.

Not saying he is a world beater by any stretch. Just that he'll be slightly elevated if he wins the IBO. If that brings him an extra £30k, £40k, £50k in a defence, then fair play.

As an aside, the IBO is more than Conman Benn has ever won (or challenged for!!).

Let's get behind Lyndon, will help force some potential big domestic fights.

That York Hall fight looks fun. It's local and hopefully not too expensive so may attend.

I'm taking a punt you're not a Lyndon fan. Call it a hunch

True. Duck after duck, chasing easy opponents who are unknown. He showed what he is in the Yarde rematch. The slightest bit of adversity and the man was done, seemingly having made his mind up before the first bell had been sounded. It was disappointing.

Boxing is better off without the likes of Arthur.

Underwhelmed by these Channel 5 cards at the moment. Odd to hold them on consecutive weekends as well considering Wasserman only have six cards a year on the channel.

Given CEJ was one of the few people to claim IBO as a "world title", do the Sauerlands have money in the IBO?

The card on the 24th looks great on Channel 5:
    - Lyndon Arthur vs Braian Suarez - IBO World Light Heavyweight Title
    - James Moorcroft vs Nathan Bennett
    - Conah Walker vs Kane Gardner

There will be six of these cards on Channel 5 in 2023- confirmed last week in press release. Exactly the same number as last year.

He recently got smash to bits by Yarde, why would he have jumped in with another tough opponent? And lose, then his career is over. Dude is making the right steps, in the position he is in now the IBO route is pretty much the best option. Not everybody can fight for the big marbles at once. I'm sure once he has had a 1/2 more fights he will be in a position to step back up again.
