Two of Riddick Bowe's wins will be changed to KO losses. This move will mean that Bowe will no longer belong to a particular elite group of former boxers. He was once one of three Lineal HW Champs who were never stopped. Tunney and Marciano are the only Lineal HW Champs who were never stopped now.

I always felt that he held the status on sufferance anyway.

If Kov would have tried to retaliate-he would have been disqualified.

    BTW
Is there any serious Russian USA tension presently going on? Sometimes such things are reflected in how foreigners are treated in the USA.

It doesn't matter if Kovalev was tired or if he had been hurt with shots to the head or even shots to the body (that were not low). The point is this... Ward landed a lot of low blows that the ref refused to acknowledge. He acknowledged one but failed to allow Kovalev up to 5 minutes to recover... He gave him a few seconds and acted like that was too long! Sure, Ward landed some good shots but some of those were set up with low blows. Trunks high? Not at all. You could clearly see Kovalev's naval the entire fight. The shots were not borderline... borderline to the bottom of the waistband at best. Ward had his trunks just as high, perfectly fine. Not the nuts??? Low is low. This is ridiculous and too many people are acting like it is no big deal.
