Carbajal brothers were great but I am talking of 2 of my personal favourites. Pops Curtis Cokes was something else. They don’t make them like that anymore.
He is an idiot. Every true Pacquiao fan should thank God for intervening so Pacquiao was spared a worse shellacking than he received from Ugas.
Don Curry was one of my early favourites growing up. Loved his style of boxing....then he met Lloyd Honeghan and was never the same!?!? What happened to him that night....and thereafter?
It's more about how he treated fellow black fighters, but if you wanna continue to paint me as a racist, then feel free.
His out of ring antics, his demeanor in interviews, his attitude, fighting style, ducking of top contenders, arrogance, inability to take a loss, and the fact that most close to him at the time confirm he was a selfish, slimy POS. The stories of how he manipulated his sparring partners, and how he was jealous of every other black fighter who received praise. He also drew the colour line against his own race simply because he didn't want someone to give another black fighter the chance at winning the title. He had fighters black balled to avoid them and shut them down, and specifically said how he was above fighters who was clearly not in his earlier career. Despite being hated, he was also a product of lots of corruption. He was just an all-round bellend. Overall, hate is a strong word, because it's impossible to hate somebody who died half a century before I was born. But yeah, he wasn't a good dude. He did more harm than good for racial tensions. Someone like Langford or Louis as the first black heavyweight champion would've done far more for equality in sports.
Spence didn't provide evidence or a press release of an eye injury. Only an IDIOT would consider a pic with an eye patch as proof. It wouldn't hold up in any argument as proof.
I understand your reasoning.Maybe dislike would be a better word. Myself I never thought Johnson did anything for his race,he just did himself. He was Jack. Raw and unfiltered.Flawed yet perfect.
Spence didn't provide proof. In any argument, he doesn't have a retina tear. So at best for you, there's no injury.
