So I just read that Fields is returning. I started a thread a few months back about this. They claim that they were right in line for a title shot against Wlad before Barrett knocked him the **** out. Is this true? Was he really that close to a title shot? Cause that is just sad if a man like Fields was even remotely close to a title shot.:-(
Even with the division the way it is he shouldn't have been in any short line. I don't mind him coming back. Just because he got blown out in one round it doesn't mean he can't learn something and have some good performances. Or, at least, allow a few prospects to blow him out in one round and make a name off him.
No not at all, I'll even admit to being a fan of his a few short years ago. He seems like a nice guy, and he always shows up in good shape which could be a good example for all of the other young heavyweights showing up blubbery these days.
Maybe he can fight this Tyson Fury who seems to get all the media attention despite how early it is in his career.
The list of people who could beat him is a mile long at this point, but I am curious, if he learns a thing or two about boxing under his new trainer Ken Lakusta, who can you see him beating? Anyone of note?
A battle of the giants would be fun to watch but Fury would knock seven shades of sh!t out of Fields.
What could be sarcastic about the return of Big Sky Fly High No Lie You know this Tye Fields? How was the Herbie Hide auto btw?
