If Barret shows up to fight and win . . . he may win. If the Barret that shows up is the Barret that fought Rahman . . . no way. He'll get owned. I'll pick Tye on this.
I'm really surprised at the number of people picking Fields. I've seen him fight quite a few times, and he's one step above Butterbean, people. Unless Barrett is shot - which IS a possibility, given the way he's looked lately - he should beat this guy easily. Fields is as mediocre as they come. Calling him a clubfighter would be a compliment.
fields bu ud, the only way to stop the poor technique but very fit fields is to knock him cold, barret doesnt have the power to do it imo
Fields has potential to be the next great heavyweight. I don't see Barrett beating him. Hopefully Fields gets a title shot soon, hes earned it.
never seen fields fight but barrett has fought many top fighters he has serveral losses including to klit
I've a question..... I know Tye Fields has an power-punching mode, where he throws bombs at opponents and KOs them. And I know he has an attrition mode, where he throws lots of punches. What I want to know is how many opponents has he stopped while in attrition mode?
Barrett's days as a quality gatekeeper seem a little behind him now, that Couser loss was a bad one (even though he avenged it) and he ain't getting any younger. I think Fields wins this one purely on his workrate, possibly a ref stoppage as he furiously flails away randomly at Barrett on the ropes.
57 seconds, can't believe I thought Fields would actually make it a few rounds before getting knocked senseless.
