rahman galss chin, vitali would have KOed rahman in 1-2 rounds max, no big deal. Hey, Tie Fields KO rahman also, and barret, both are shaky. Rahman is definitin of glass cihn.

Good matchup. I favor Fields slightly but an upset wouldn't be huge. Barrett is on a two fight winning streak.

tye fields reminds me so much of primo carnera .

    painfully slow/arm punchers/good workrate/no chin/poor hand eye coordination.

tye fields is a ko waiting to happen.

Tye Fields is just waiting to be exposed. Ive heard nothing good bout tis kid other than that he has been highly protected and his managers just seem to be lining him up for one big payday where it seems he will most likely get KOed

I like Monte but he's finished. Fields will win this by UD.

I don't think Barrett has it anymore and he struggled getting inside against the tall Valuev. Fields will keep Barrett at bay and win a decision, much like he did against Kendrick Releford (who actually may be better than Barrett at this stage).

I hate to say it but I agree with you. The only reason I think that Fields people are picking Barrett is because they are fairly certain that he is finished as a fighter.

I think a step up that would have more to me would have been to face someone like Travis Walker or Kevin Johnson. A more up and coming fighter than one on his way down.

I have to give Fields some credit though they initally went after Rahman. But Rahman wasn't interested in the fight.

Yeah, it seems they are wanting to finally get a known name in Tye's win column, but one that won't pose much of a threat.

But as limited as Fields is, even Barrett, as he is in 2008, may be too much for him.

that's right - fields is so open at getting countered. barrett could get some wild haymaker in and fields chin gets tested.

If Barrett comes in very focused/prepared, I see him stopping Fields, who's a horrible prospect.
