All the fighters he mentions as been better than Josh, none of them are true fw.
I went to the presser yesterday and I had to look deep but there is an air of arrogance with Carl. Admittedly it is subtle but it is there. I think he may be in for a rude awakening on Dec 22nd.
Lee made a similar mistake and although his delusions were far greater than Carl's they will both inevitabley end up with the same final thoughts.

Equally you could say Josh has neverbeaten a top featherweight. (kiko was a superbantam andselby a weight drained lightweight. Both were washed up too) . Do you seriously think Carl will be as weak as Selby? No way! Selby wasweak and limp and lifeless in there. Josh will be getting hit a lot more often and a lot harder than he is used to. Josh's workrate will Peter out after a fewrounds ....of getting hithard by Carl. ..

Frampton has a reason to be arrogant he's fought some of the best at in and around the weight Selby didn't he only fought garbage mandatories.

Yeah the weight was clearly a far bigger issue for Selby than for Frampton who looks, if not quite at his peak, not too far off it.

I get the arrogance vibe as well, but maybe that's needed in some guys to get them though the camp and the fight?

    An arrogant boxer whatever next.

In my real world experience those most triggered by ‘arrogance’ are insecure little people who wrongly conflate it with self confidence.

Easy mistake to make if you have no self confidence yourself I suppose

Josh's two best wins are a washed up kiko (who he barely beat, remember ) and a death camp survivor version of Lee Selby.

Carl's beaten prime kiko, prime quigg, prime Santa Cruz.

Come on folks, get real here... .I

Carl is supremely confident in the lead up to every fight. It can come off as arrogance and it probably is. Who cares? He's earned that right by being a two weight world champion and elite fighter.

Not quite. Carl would've murderer the version of Selby that faced Josh. Selbys punches had nothing. Josh had his way with him. Be different against Carl... Very different .. .you'll see.

Frampton is right about a few things including fact josh hasn’t boxed someone who punches as hard as Carl.

For some reason Len you are pinning your hopes on the Lee Selby that Josh beat was some kind if different version of Lee to his previous 5 fights. It's well established that although Lee was drained at the weight, he was no more drained than his previous fights. This is the same Lee Selby that you picked to be too much for Carl.
We shall see, your quite right.

I agree Selby has outgrown 126 years ago. I just think the josh fight was the one where it all caught up with him. I think Lee was the WORST I’ve ever seen him against Josh. This is the key point....how much credit can we give josh for beating Selby? How much of what happened was due to Lee’s awful state, and how much to joshs ability? That’s the key question.

Bud with all due respect you are so biased towards Frampton I can’t take your posts on anything to do with him too seriously.

Frampton is obviously the favourite, however Warrington has a great chance to beat him here. He has a great engine and has a much higher work rate than Frampton. Should be a great fight
