1987..BIGGS the first olympic superheavyweight champ is 15-0 as a pro.
Tyson doesnt exist. Now before you say it..yes Tyrell had a drugs issue earlier and we know he isnt a massive banger and so on...but what if his "title shot" was v Berbick and then could we get him through a few defences ?
Just a bit of fun given there arent many new imaginary fight threads over the holiday period...so Biggs v Berbick...how does Ty's title bout go now ? Hoping he wins..next threads are a few " defences" !

Biggs was a likeable fellow, I bet he didn't really do too much to upset Tyson who was shy and underdeveloped (as a person!!) and didn't deserve the bad press he got as a "bully" in the buildup to LA '84.
I personally think Holyfield would have made a beeline for him and beefed up even faster once he smashed Tillman if Biggs was champ. Then again, Holmes would have liked a crack too maybe in '87...and Pinklon Thomas could still fight then too!
I suppose if he stayed clean and grew confident he would have been a decent champ but not a longterm one.

Tyson didnt ruin Biggs, Biggs ruined Biggs, thats why Main Events threw him in with Tyson because they knew he was a drug addict who didnt train hard.

    Dr Banzai is a ****

For proof, just visit his page and see posts made by him.

As for Tyrell, sorry i dont think he would ever have amounted to much.
Guys who 'have it', normally get to the top one way or another by hook or by crook.

Just the fact that they let him face Tyson after suffering that horrible cut over his eye against David Bey and not letting it fully heal was proof enough noone had much faith in Biggs career.

Salty trunks..yep thats a good point..theres no doubt he was "cashed in"..although as i have stated already Tyrell himself insists he was and is drug free from 1984..3 years before facing Tyson...its always talked about as though his drug use was a constant..he certainly looked in great shape usually...
Ps...nice post AZZER..i dont like anyone who disrespects any boxer...if nothing else, every fighter has my admiration, its just a matter of degree.
