Both at their peak, how does this fight go? I think that Biggs’ speed and sharp jab would wreak havoc on Coetzer and piece his face up something fierce. But I also think that Pierre would have his moments and that would make this a fun fight.
Love the Duff quote about Coetzer--he fights just good enough to lose. And that sums up this fight. Hangs in there but not the guy with his arm raised at the end.
Biggs was actually quite good imho. His problem was his lack of real physicality and toughness. Coetzer is the opposite - less skilled than Biggs but tough as nails and willing to take one to land one. To me it's a tossup. Biggs might be able to outbox him and win fairly lopsidedly. Or, like happened in real life, Coetzer might walk through fire like he did against Du Plooy and get the KO and Biggs might fight well but crumble like he did against Damiani. 50-50 fight.
Good fight. The early version of Tyrell Biggs had good foot work and a nice jab. Coetzer was a tough guy who was a decent inside fighter and body puncher. I think this would be a decent match. Leaning towards Biggs by a decision but only if he’s 100%.
just depends if Coetzer can bring enough pressure.... Biggs can outbox him but dont think his right hand is strong enough to dissuade Pierre enough to make it an easy fight.... 8-4 Biggs
