I see this as a very winnable fight for Biggs if he stays focused and doesn’t fall into that bad habit of fighting his opponent’s fight. If he sticks to the game plan I can see him taking a decision against Chagaev, who I don’t feel has the necessary firepower to make Biggs come apart. Ruslan had some pop sure, but I think Tyrell could take it. How does this fight go down?
I’m picking chagaev but not decided on a points or KO win. Biggs was too undisciplined and never truly grew out of his amateur habits to transition fully into the pros. Not saying Chagaev was great by any means. But he was always focused. Was a busy fighter in the ring and knew how to neutralize taller men.
Could certainly happen in this fight. Lord knows it wouldn’t be the first time this scenario unfolded in a Biggs fight.
Who is Bigg's most significant win... I can't really find one victory though I had hoped for his success
There’s not much there. He beat Simms who was never a serious contender, Snipes who had lost a bunch of times since fighting Holmes, Tillis in the middle of a losing streak, and went life or death with Bey who had recently lost to Bugner and Bonecrusher. It’s probably Snipes because he had a little comeback later in his career.
I always have thought prime Chagaev was underrated. Very solid boxer with respectable power. I think he stops Biggs before the 8th.
Biggs too undisciplined imo,he even did good vs a great talent in Riddick Bowe but fumbled the bag hard.
Close in the polls thus far at 6 for Chagaev and 5 for Biggs, but despite this tight race almost no Biggs supporters are taking to the comments to defend their guy. If any of the other Biggs voters are reading, please chime in and state your case for the man.
