I was really hungry, so I ate 3 huge country style ribs, 3 fried chicken strips and a salad with blue cheese dressing, and I'm ready to go again.:ggg

    Well,

the Spong vs. Minda fight actually happened, and finished right before I tuned into the stream as I was posting the RBR thread, but the result isn't up on BoxRec yet...if you want to wait until the FB live video hits its fatal three-hour mark in about half an hour, thus allowing us to cherry-pick a point to rewind to as it becomes eligible for 'replay', I can tell you what minute to cue it up to so we can watch it simultaneously.

José Alberto López Avila (yet another "El Veneno") in action next, in an eight-rounder at super flyweight. I missed the opponent's name briefly flashed in an onscreen graphic during the ring intros and BoxRec lists TBA (super helpful).

On second thought, I just checked Boxrec. Nevermind. I'll check back later.

López up 20-18, killing the body, should get a stoppage pretty soon..

Josue Escalante vs. Román Delgado, 4 rounds @ ...cruiserweight?

"Killa" Delgado made his pro debut in June of 2016 and in the four years since has fought as many times and lost them all; three by shutout and one corner retirement.

"El Banano" Escalante was, from what I can gather, a Yucatán middleweight prospect from about fourteen until eleven years ago, who disappeared for a decade and started a comeback last year at light heavy. Guessing a stint in prison, then?

This is even less skillful than I was expecting of a rusty blown-up MW ex-con versus an obese former WW tomato can fighting at...light heavy or cruiser, whatever this is.

Some mildly interesting infighting there in the middle of the second with Escalante backed into the corner and Delgado grinding in on him, both covering up and then unloading with long barrages of body & head shots.
