This whole card has been decent by MTK’s standards until this fight. They should’ve switched the order of this with McCullough-Encarnacion
68-65 Ward, the "Quiet Man" waxing as Paredes wanes, flooding tons of light jabs on the face undeterred.
Ward looks like he's punching under water with literally no power. Big fan of Moore, I sparred him about 21 years ago when he was at Little Hulton amateurs.
78-74 Ward, probably should have been a deduction from Paredes there (Barry Jones thinks so), another blatant headbutt.
Third flagrant headbutt (literally performing a scooping motion in & up with his skull) and the ref decides to bypass point deductions and hand Paredes a loss. DQ9!
Paredes is so enraged about the DQ he allegedly went up to Steve Bunce and said "that was fun but when I catch Ward in the parking lot, the real fight will begin.."
Dude, he did, twice before. The previous two headbutts had been every bit as blatant. What he should've done was take a point the second if not first time. It should go soft warning (depending on severity, if obviously flagrant proceed to hard warning or even first deduction) -> hard warning -> deduction -> maybe another deduction -> DQ.
