Tyrone McCullagh vs. Josh Kennedy RBR

90-81 McCullagh, still moving as effortlessly as in the early rounds, drawing Kennedy along on a string and peppering him with body combos. McCullagh is skittering around landing jabs and 1-2s from outside. Kennedy manages to cut in close and land one good swipe at the head but not enough.

 

100-90 McCullagh, zigzagging around the ring, never in danger of being touched with anything full-force, but still gathering up the goalposts just in case when Kennedy launches a high right hand and screening it out easily, then countering with a left as Kennedy is reeling the arm in. Flurries by McCullagh while turning Kennedy, then hitting repeatedly with the left in flapping motions of the fist against the face while Kennedy traps his right arm under his left. Clinches getting frequent but neither doing much damage while infighting. Ref splits them and McCullagh is circling, flurrying. Kennedy gets off a couple of uppercut combos on the waistband, very light, putting all he can into them but knackered, arm punches.
