Angelo Di Carlo has matched this one up for September, date and venue TBA...Great fight.

Vacant Aussie Welterweight title after Tim Hunt vacated

Yep! He's current Oz light middy, but wishes to campaign @ welter, figuring it would suit him better.

His fight with katsidis was a ****ing war!!!

But didn't he suffer brain damage or am I confusing him with Z gorres?

Your right It was him he had bleeding on the brain. He sat out a couple of years and then got licensed again. From memory he had to have a CT scan of his melon to get his licence back. I think Todd Maclin trains him now.

No, and there's nothing in BoxRec as yet.

Looks like Tim Hunt is going the PABA route with a matchup in a couple of weeks against former Pom 'Charlie' King. I think it's a fight Hunt can win too.

That dont sound right m8, if you have had bleeding on the brain due to a boxing fight you should never be permited to box again. CT Scan or no CT scan it should not matter. The risk is to great, shame on any trainer that is willing to put this guy back into a boxing ring.

Yeah mate apparentley a small bleed. I'm not a neurologist mate but if the boy wants to fight that's his choice.

If he wants to fight and passes whatever tests I don't see the issue. He took a pounding from Kats though, how he made the distance I do not understand. It would take a horse to KO the guy.
