would pep whip the ultra tough dorsey with his slickness and defensive wizzardness?

Troy Dorsey wins this fight without throwing a punch (if it's a kickboxing contest).

a very nice play in words Sweet_Science... Alas, Dorsey would need more than nimble legs to reach the Will 'o' the wisp .

    :good

So outclassed would poor Troy be, he'd probably still lose even if he was allowed to use all four limbs and Pep only his two.

Probably a shutout for Willie. Troy never gave up, his handspeed was just a little slow.

Prime Willie Pep would be able to stick and move on Troy Dorsey and win a comfortable 15 round decision or by a cuts stoppage. Troy had a ton of guts and heart and always gave it everything he got, but against an ATG like Pep it wouldnt be enough. Troy cut and swelled very easily, and had a smothering, head first style. A slick boxer like Pep would make Troy's face a mess. Dorsey, although he would try to brawl and put pressure on guys, was an arm puncher who never sat down on his punches He was a former kickboxer who never really got his legs involved in his punches when he came into boxing. If he did he would have been a better puncher and his pressure style would have been much more effective, just not with Pep.

Troy's arch nemisis Jorge Paez would give Pep a much better tussle. Although Pep would still be heavily favored.
