    I don't think it's the second option. He lost his daughter like almost a year ago and ballooned up after that (with the Oprah show as climax).

    Photos of him at the beginning of February still show him as pretty fat. He lost the weight damn quickly.

    I think its pretty safe to say Tyson size was due to fat, not an insane retention of water.
