http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=ys-investopediamoneyloss031010&prov=yhoo&type=lgns I was amazed when I saw on some show, Holyfield give a tour of his incredibly massive house, some years back. Here are the specifics of the house has (had). Holyfield bought a $20 million house with over 54,000 square feet and 109 rooms. The house has 11 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a movie theater, a bowling alley and an Olympic-size swimming pool. Imagine how much it must cost to cut the grass on all 235 acres. I think Holy continues to fight, not only cause he loves the game, but cause he probably is still in financial trouble and needs the money to maintain a somewhat lavish lifestyle, although we don't know what his lifestyle expectations are, these days.
yeah, people don't mention it as much as Tyson but Holyfield blew an insane amount of money as well on crap that he possibly couldn't use. I mean, really 109 rooms? wasn't 54 rooms enough? 27,000 square feet just too small? It makes me a bit angry considering students are having a hard time getting student loans nowadays but these guys managed to blow that much money on just ****.
