Tyson - at his best looked arguably to be the best, fought in a division that encompases 100lbs weight differences, of 4lb weight differences, gave up massive weight/height/reach. Far more talented than the below men

    MAB
    Benitez
    Gomez
    Morales

I think its close between those 4 and its what you do for, MAB being 1 of my faves tops the lot

    In terms of ATG ranking...

    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Erik Morales
    Wilfred Benitez
    Wilfredo Gomez
    Mike Tyson

According to Resume, Ability, Longevity, and accomplishments

iM A HUGE TYSON fan and i see your points, but bottom line those other guys had great resumes and skills so i put what you were saying into consideration.

A guy like Benitez had more natural skills than almost any fighter in the history of boxing.

If you wanna go by how undersized Tyson was at heavy well than you can make a case for him bein one of the greatest fighters ever. ALthough i would think i can only rank him based on his skills(very high) and what he did at heavy. I

Having Barrera and Morales 1 and 2 respectively would also be consensus, Anarci.

Gomez over Tyson is 1 of the most laughable things I've ever heard, is Zarate P4P above SPinks to?

    Yey maybe in Addies world:lol:

Actually i think all these guys are close and wont argue to hard with anyone who re arranges these guys however they want.

Addie you know most will argue that Gomez was greater that Morales,Barrera.

Although imo they have the slightly better resumes, and even HTH would have been almost even money with Bazook.

They have better resumes, and they were more successful as they moved up in weight. I have both of them higher than Gomez, but I wouldn't favor either of them to win at 122lbs.

I really dont see whats so funny with those comparisons.

Actually Gomez and Tyson are kind of on par. I would rate Spinks over Zarate, but i get the sense your disrespecting Zarate as an ATG.

Spinks is light years ahead of Zarate...but then again, Spinks is light years ahead of Tyson too.

Tyson has a greater resume imo, his dominance was better and he fought everyone

Morales lost against MAB 3 times, didnt face Marquez, Hamed, Bungu, Mkkinney, Mayweather,Corrales, Casamayor, Freitas. Some of those he didnt share a division with but Casa was calling him out and he waited until 130lbs was cleared out to move up. Arrum kept Morales away from some tough fights. Allot is made out of Morales beating Junior Jones, but Mkkinney stopped him first and Morales fought Jones instead.

Barrera is 1 of my faves, but his losses to speedsters like Jones/Pacquaio show a clear weakness. Resume and longevity wise, he tops the other 3

Gomezs got dominated in his prime by Sanchez and his wins don't make up for that

Benitez is a great natural talent, but he is a lazy fecker, and offensively he isnt that hot. I also don't think 154lb Duran, Cervantes (who I don't rate), Palomino are good enough

Mike was dominated in his prime by Buster Douglas, a glaring omission from an otherwise fair post.

Good points regarding the Gomez and Tyson comparison though.
