I actually have tyson first among these guys, I think his skillset is the best and he was p4p #1 in his prime. He has one bad loss to buster, but these guys lost to. They never beat anyone as good as Lennox or Evander in an all time sense.

Oh really, the duran that fought benitez was better than the lennox that fought tyson? I'm sure his performances in that period proved the point.

I'm sure you're in the minority if you really think barerra and morales are better fighters. Lennox is considered by many a top 4-8 heavyweight of all times. Which original eight weight class is barrera or morales top 10 in?

Smaller fighters get overrated, people assume since they are so agile that it means they are more skilled.

I can name a handful of featherweights or lightweights that would beat morales or barerra, you think they are so great cuz they would move up a whooping 4 pounds. How many heavyweights in history would realistically be favoured to beat lewis 10/10 times?

Addie, you know I love MAB too, but I honestly think Morales outranks him on a P4P list. The win over Pacquiao really seals it for me.

That's more testament to how stacked 126lbs has been throughout history...holds no weight here in my judgment...no pun intended.

I don't see how anyone could see it definitively one way for either guy.

    Care to elaborate?

No it's a testament to the fact that smaller people tend to fight more, so they generally produce a higher quantity of fighters in the lower weight classes.

There are people who make reasonable cases that lennox could beat foreman, louis, holmes, or jack johnson in a head to head battle.

If someone suggested barrera or morales could beat any of the elite featherweights, they would be laughed out of the building.

I guarantee when ring magazine updates thier rankings from 2002, they will still have lewis above benitez, morales and barrera.

You could make a case for Barrera or Morales as a top 10 FW, that division is probably more stacked than heavy, also I barely have Lewis in my top 10 heavys. As for Duran at JM being better than Lennox:think:think Kind of hard to say about on par with Lewis. Lewis IMO is overrated. I think Barrera and Morales are clearly better than Lennox and so is Manny. The thing with Lewis is that his Chin was average and id give a lot of fighters a punchers chance as far as PFP fantasy matchups.

I dont think its laughable to give Barrera,Morales a chance against any feather. Only Sanchez and Pep are clear winners, anyone else would have their hands full.

You could rank morales and barrera ahead of benitez, but ahead of lennox, no dice. Lennox has the greater legacy. He avenged his embarassing losses, barrera got beat by junior jones twice.

Lennox's chin is average, his punching power more than makes up for it. His power is something that benitez, morales and barrera lack.

I think Lennox Lewis proved his chin in the end. He took some hellacious shots against respected hitters like Ray Mercer and David Tua. At Heavyweight, at that level, anybody can get knocked out if they are hit on the right spot. The only importance that it has here is that Lennox was able to redeem himself decisively on both occasions. True character.

You'd be hard stretched to fit either Barrera or Morales in a top 10 at 126lbs. Morales virtually has zero case in fact, but that's not really an issue here either way. Both the Mexicans won legitimate world titles over a variety of different weight divisions, and I believe beating Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao are two superior scalps to virtually anybody Lennox Lewis defeated.

I have Barrera and Morales above Lewis as a result.

You think they can beat saddler and arguello? I think argeullo would knock them out.
