Just to let any of my fellow Scots know or those situated in the North of England, Iron Mike Tyson is scheduled for a charity dinner on the 31st May. The event is hosted by Braveheart promotions and tickets are on sale now.

I for one will be attended as I've yet to see the man in person and I'm sure it will be interesting. Certainly a once in a lifetime experience.

Lock up your daughters, your wives and any other females or skirt wearers because Tyson is coming to town.

Only jokeing he actually seems pretty decent a fellow and I would definetly go if it was nearer me.

He's doing a tour of talks around Britan, think he's got like 5 or 6 dates and one is at Carlisle, which is about an hour away from me.

Tickets are expensive, but I definitely wanna go.

I think it said in the local paper it was about £75 for the cheapest, and over £200 for the best I think.

Now I like meeting boxers, its great meeting your idols. im not into the dinner thing though where you have to fork out hundreds of pounds just to see them tell some stories whilst you are eating an overpriced dinner.
Its much better just meeting them at boxing events, saying hello & getting your photo taken with them IMO!

    Saves a fortune:D

It is at the Hilton and I've heard the price varies from £100 to £250 for the Champagne Reception plus a picture opportunity.

I've decided to not attend as I can't be arsed forking out that sort of money.
