Iv been looking for this for years after reading the excellent the last great fight i really wanted to see this and it didnt dissapoint wow You can See the animosity Mike had for Merchant at this stage of his career this is before he left HBO. Great video Mike saying Buster fought a great fight all he wanted was the rematch

larry: "what was your plan from the get go"

buster: "to whoop his ass"

i always maintain tyson didn't fight with his usual fire that night.

shame we never saw a rematch.

that would have answered a lot of questions.

don king lost browny points on messing that up for mike. :patsch

Mike entered the ring fairly focussed , then it dragged on and on and on, they announced some garbage , then sang a national anthem or two.. Then it dragged and then they came with some ****in trophy to presentto Mike, then it kept dragging.. Mike lost his focus and took James a little lightly, It was jsut about then that coincidentally he met the probably most focussed prepared opponent to date.Bad day at the office.. It is history now..

James had skills man, great tools..

Thanks for posting this. It was entertaining.

There was no luck on the part of Douglas. He came in focused and beat Tyson up from start to finish. Even both corner men admitted that Tyson looked off from the 1st round on.
