good stuff you found there. confirms what many people had thought for years. It was a perfect storm, tyson came in at his worst and douglas came in at his best. tyson thought he can get by with living a reckless lifestyle and ran into a motivated douglas. but the way tyson was, out of control and all, if he hadnt loss to douglas, the train would have derailed at some point.

Yeah after Douglas he was doing a Mike Tyson impersonation. He was standing way too straight up and was being a one punch stalker most of the time. He would bob and weave for 10 seconds in the first round and then stand straight up and throw a power jab and then some wild hook. Totally different fighter it's crazy how much he changed. But he did have some good power still. He smashed Etienne and Botha.

can't believe it's been over 20 years, it seems like just yesterday that Prime Tyosn got schooled and KO'd by Buster Douglas.
