He shouldn't have ever lost to Fury. Wlad ****ed up...

 

I'm kind of torn in regards to how I feel about this situation. While I don't want to tear a man while he's down, especially if he is mentally ill, but you have to take everything he says with a huge pinch of salt as he has been caught outright lying more than once.

He chose to take nandrolone, he chose to make the comments he did regarding homosexuals and he chose to lie about being investigated by UKAD for a doping offence. He's now paying for his bad choices and it's hard to feel sorry for him.

He isn't loved because of the things he has said, he isn't respected because of the way he fought Wlad and the fact he cheated. He can't act the fool or make yourself the villain and expect people to love you for it.

 

I think he should just retire, it's obvious that he's not got any more motivation to do this. Wlad should let him and his rematch go as well and also retire.

 

I mean, in the fact that he's mentally weak.
Mike Tyson was a suicidal manic depressive too, humilated on television by Robin Givens, went home and drove his car into a tree. Couldn't handle the fame, success and media scrutiny. Couldn't handle life. Loathed himself, had an identity crisis. Dosed up on anti-depressants "to keep me from killing you all".

 

Wlad will go down as the ATG who lost to a bi-polar PED abusing psychopath who ducked him twice in a rematch. Way to close out a career.

 

That's his problem, he expected everyone to love him.
I think he's a decent man but I can understand why most people wouldn't 'get' him.

 

I don't think many Forum Posters are looking to "get" anyone in today's environment. It is too easy to throw shade and hate today's Anonymous environment

 

There have been stranger career endings.

I can understand people disliking the chap - he's a diverse cup of tea. But the hate for a guy who at 27 beat an ATG unbeaten in 13 years in his backyard is disgraceful.

It turns my ****ing stomach. Hatton, Calzaghe, Froch - none of them have a win that good!
