https://www.menshealth.com/entertainment/a32331499/mike-tyson-boxing-training-comeback/ Says he will be tuning up with some charity events ... I wonder if he truly plans on going thru with it? Possibly fight for a belt & demolish Deontay on the way there! legit chance or too old too slow?
It's interesting because only a few months back he said on a podcast that he doesn't train because it brings out the fire in him he had when he was young and he doesn't want that to happen. He needs to lay off the weed
I was just reading he wants to sponsor Barcelona soccer team for two years. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11514499/mike-tyson-cannabis-farm-barcelona/
Mike was shot 20 years ago. However, If wants wants to do some light exhibitions to raise some money that would be great, since people would still pay good money to see him.
Nothing wrong with some white collar/charity stuff. He's not old, he's not young. Bit of exercise can't hurt.
He isnt eyeing anything. He is a busy man with a busy schedule and due to COVID19 he is getting bored at home so he thinks that if he spends some time in the gym he can get into some type of fighting shape again. His busy schedule previously kept his ego in check with all the distractions he had. Now his fighting ego has taken over. Every former fighter thinks they have some of that old magic left in them..
He would still smash up a number of lower level journeymen HW's floating about the scene. Price, Allen, Browne, Little etc would all get it.
