    You don't think he'd beat 46 y/o Williams then?

This is all reminding me of Nigel Benn's recent aborted comeback.

If Tyson fought and beat DW in a real boxing match right now it would have far reaching ramifications throughout the sports world. And yes it would be absolutely awesome!

Tyson lost to Williams and Mcbride at the end of his career about 15 years ago. Those guys were around the level of price, allen etc. Has Tyson improved in the last 15 years?

Wilder would KO Tyson now. Different eras, they should never fight each other.

To be honest, he could smash low to middle tier, journeymen. Especially the smaller ones.

Some clever matchmaking would do him wonders.

Well, its been said, but I'll try it my way.

Tyson was already in a sort of decline after the Michael Spinks fight in '88, since he was no longer using the combinations and head movement.

The last really impressive opponent that he beat would be Ruddock--that was 91.

Last good wins were in 96 against Bruno and Seldon. After that there was the Holyfield fights, and even the Botha fight he went crazy had to cheat by trying to break the poor guy's arm.

So, to put things in perspective:

He hasn't been prime for 32 years.
He hasn't been a great fighter for 29 years.
He hasn't been a good fighter for 24 years.

Should Tyson come back to boxing, he might be killed. And you know who agreed? Mike Tyson, who once said "I have lost so much to drugs and alcohol that I would fear for my life if I fought again."
