Mike Tyson has been offered $ 1 Million US to All Black Sonny Bill
in a exhibition fight in Melbourne next yr. This visa shouldn't be a
problem as Tyson came to Aust in 2012.

That promoter is full of BS. Only offering Tyson 1 million while full intending to make much more than that from the event?

Tyson's name as a brand is worth far more than 1 million and whatever Tyson does for his exhibition or whatever will be done on his terms, not some greedy promoter.

Tyson get it can get a muc more appealing opponent than a couple rugby players

To waste his “big chance” against two unknown Australian rugby players is utter BS

I hope he looks for something more entertaining and interesting, given his iconic name and The amount of interest and money this will generate

I would like to see hm in with an older, but also well-known, heavyweight fighter and see what happens

True, but At 53 can’t Blame him if he decides taking a couple of soft touches.

just an offer not actually inked yet.

Tyson actually trained hard for the Danny Williams fight with Freddie Roach, before the woeful Mcbride fight. He looked the pretty good there, but the key point is his body gave out. With all his best intentions he was done 15 years ago, knee gone, back wrecked from multiple injuries. He is a grey bearded pot smoking old dude now. I can’t believe anyone could take this seriously, there no chance he intends a proper comeback lol. At best it will be like the exhibition he did a decade back, which was hard to watch. It’s nice to see Tyson looking good on the pads though, a flash of brilliance from his past.

Was he actually properly training tho. I get he was with roach...but dont think he was consistantly turning up to train. It takes longer than they had together to rebuild a fighter with as many outside problems as tyson had.

I personally think he should go for it. We all know at 53 hes not gonna beat anyone serious. But why not do exactly what george foreman done. Fight 20 useless guys that are basically part time fighters. A trained tyson at 53 would beat part time fighters. If thats a success....see if he can take on a useless full time fighter. See where it goes. The odds are massively against him...and he,ll make the same mistake they all do...and take/chase the money. Already talking about him fighting danny williams. Forget that....fight guys thst have always been useless. Get back to boxing being fun.

Shannon briggs was still banging out guys a few years back. These older guys are better than people think. No ones saying they,ll beat anyone serious....but they all said that about foremann afterall.

How does my opinion make my attitude, “fake”? That makes no sense, you dweeb.

Learn to read. I said Tyson should have been matched properly to best guys who wouldn’t pose a physical threat. Why fight huge guys when you can fight smaller ones? IDIOT.

Tyson could fight once a month, on the undercard of pretty much any boxing match that’s on TV and get paid a minimum of 5 million or more per fight and people will watch.

I think there will 100% be a visa issue.
Back in 2012 Tyson somewhat flew under the radar coming here. He did a few smaller media appearances and private function meet and greets. Even then there was outrage by some about it. But coming over for a fight against Sonny Bill, all the media that would be surrounding it drummed up with the me too movement. A visa is without a doubt going to be a major pain in the ass to deal with at least.

Chris Brown also came over in 2011 but wasn't given a visa a couple years later. Floyd Mayweather was banned... Hell even Dan Bilzerian wasn't given a visa because he treats women bad on ingstagram or something like that. Not even becuase he's dragging the ankle weight of domestic violence and **** convictions like Brown and Tyson are.

For the record though. I'm in the camp of that Mike is innocent and should be let him in.

We have already seen this 15 years ago, this time I feel like it's gonna be even worse. For God's sake, please don't make a comeback Mike!
