JAMIE FOX. Awesome. from tysontalk.com: Mike Tyson says his life story is fit for the big screen - and he wants Jamie Foxx to play the title role. The former champ told a Las Vegas newspaper that he has had talks with Foxx about a movie and predicted the flick will happen within two years. "Jamie Foxx and I will be working together," Tyson told the Review-Journal. "He will play me in the film about my life. We already talked about it several times." The legendary Iron Mike brawled his way up from the streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn, to win the heavyweight title in 1986 at age 20. He battled demons all the way and retired in 2005. He says his life story is a warning to kids to stay on the straight and narrow. "I've seen the devil, and I don't want that," Tyson said.
I love everything Tyson and although it might not turn out to be a good film, I'm really excited about the possibility of a Tyson movie starring a big actor. He's one of the most interesting people that have ever lived and I've been a big fan of his since I was a little kid. Hopefully they don't rush it or make it some cheesy PG-13 movie.
Jamie Foxx's face doesn't look like Tyson's, but I'm pretty sure he's ripped and looked pretty huge in some recent movies. Tyson should play Tyson. Did any of you ever see his beautiful acting job in "Black and White" with Robert Downey Jr?
Yeah, that's it. Tyson needs to be casted in more films. Imagine Mike playing the lead in a superhero movie like Batman or Ironman.
I like how he goes from peacefully looking out the window (and calm) to freaking out and choking him. "Don't **** with me *****!"
