Beating a 38 year old Wlad who struggled against jennings one fight earlier, and beating a close to prime Mike Tyson are 2 completely different aspects of not only boxing, but the midichlorians that produce...life.

Every one had a size advantage over Mike.

Not only does Fury lose, he gets pounded and gets his first name taken away.

Reason I made it Rob, was because there were a few posts on the other Tyson thread regarding fury V Mike. It was basically to see what opinions were on the subject. It's surprising tbh how many have picked fury. I expected a mike white wash, which just shows how people are seeing fury at the moment.

Did Tyson actually have a size advantage over any one Sangria? No one springs to mind.

I'm agreeing with you smoke. Size isn't making a difference against this version of MT.

In all seriousness, i have to go with Iron Mike on this one, like the man himself said going into the Bruno fight, the second one if my memory serves me correct, he said Bruno is a massive person huge, how can i miss him.

Iron Mike by stoppage in around 5 rounds, maybe earlier. :deal:

    Tell Azzer about it.
You seem to have deleted your response to him.
I'm not saying Fury would win.

Everyone had a size advantage doesn't mean it's not an advantage. It's still an advantage, something a smaller boxer has to expend energy to overcome. Fury is 6'8 with huge reach and good skills and movement. He's not an easy fight for any man.
I thought Wlad would beat him. I was wrong. I give credit where it's due. The Fury of November 2015 would be difficult to beat. Do you agree?

I picked him to beat both Klits about 5 years ago around the time Vitali fought Chisora and people laughed.

H2H I rank Fury very highly, he's got the size and the smarts.

We saw the boxing lesson he put on Wlad and Chisora in the rematch.

When he's not clowning around, Fury is a real threat to anyone.

Fury to me is the complete package.

Ok he's not the fastest and he's slightly cumbersome and he lacks one punch Ko power.

But iq, heart, guts and stamina he's got plenty of.

Which is why I pick him over Wilder and Joshua (provided he gets back into shape and shakes off the rust).

Yes, I remember you picking him to beat Klitschko years ago, and I laughed. I thought you were trolling. You called it correct. Well done.
I began to see improvements in Fury around 2012 but I never imagined he'd do what you were saying he'd do .... which in fact he did do in 2015 against Wlad.

I underrated Fury badly, but he proved himself and I'll give him all credit, and even now I won't be writing him off again in a hurry. He's a special fighter when he's right.

I picked him to beat Klitscko.simply because he's bigger and he would come to fight.

Same with Vitali, Furys bigger than him, has a decent chin, good recuperative skills, a good engine. Vitali had no way of winning that fight. Fury would have battered him.

The only guys I see giving Fury problems are Bowe and Lewis.

Surely the Chisora rematch must have set some sort of record.

I dont think Chisora landed a single punch in the whole fight?

    Yeah.
After the fight a lot of people surmised the sheer dominance must be due to Chisora being "shot" or something but I think it was pretty clearly Fury showing what level he could really fight at, especially in light of the fact that some of Chisora's performances since have been fair-to-good for him (eg. v. Pulev and Whyte).

Fury at his best is no joke.
