Tyson Fury's much-delayed UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) was scheduled to resume in London on Monday with a verdict expected after the new year - but the controversial Fury failed to show up, and was instead posting videos to social media of singing songs as he was driving. Neither Fury or UKAD are making any comments regarding the no-show. Reporters waited at the hearing location for as much as six hours before leaving. Who he thinks he is?! They will ban him for a long time.
He is either going to come to the US and get licensed or he is going to quit boxing. The man is burning bridges in the UK.
UKAD didn't show up either. Nobody knows what is going on yet. We can calm down with the bans and the emigrating at this time.
From what I understand he has UKAD over a barrel and should he decide to sue them for damages it may well bankrupt them as an organisation. By a lot of accounts they tried to **** him over a bit by dragging him before them without anywhere near concrete evidence and he can easily use their 'unfounded witch hunt' as an excuse for losing the plot and turning to recreational drugs. The whole thing has been an omnishambles that UKAD AND Team Fury have BOTH had a big hand in.
You don't have to turn up for a hearing; the panel sits regardless. Your attendance there changes nothing.
Never mind I've found reports from BBC correspondents about it. Says neither party showed up for the NADP hearing. But also another report said the hearing was at UKAD's London headquarters so it's likely they were awaiting Fury's arrival before sending their representatives as it was their building. It's not like you can no show in your own building.
This is the moment he's been waiting years for, so he can finally get his career back on track and continue on his quest for greatness, but he doesn't show??! Hmmm.. Funny how this sudden reluctance to get his licence back coincides with Manuel ''Diamond Boy'' Charr winning a portion of the HW title.
he wants nothing of ever entering the ring again. he is simply looking for excuses as to why he never fights again.
