After Tyson Fury's relatively confident win over Derek Chisora if the press had there way (and Wlad) the winner (Fury) would take on Dr Steelhammer himself. Rushing into that would for certain be a big 1 on Fury's record! I nearly fainted when i read that he isn't rushing into anything, which with a Klitschko'ish style and height of 6feet 9 inches could result in a good record for fury. I reckon with a good trainer and a little more time in the gym and a little less time in greggs he could be one, if not the best Britsh boxer (at the moment putting him behind the obvious ones.. Haye, Khan, Froch etc. But that means who next? Ive been reading around and apparently Fraudly's pay check from the Haye fight wasn't enough for him to crawl under his rock with and he wants the winner of the fight, Fury. I personally would like a few more up and coming fighters and then in the deep end with some one like Alexander Dimitrenko, Eddie Chambers or even Tomasz Adamek. (My first post so nice critiquing wouldn't go a miss!)
Martin Rogan at the Odyssey for the Irish title. It just makes sense. It would make a few quid and be a decent test for someone with ambition.
Fury is improving. He would do really well to win the Lonsdale, European and fight an eliminator. Not just to follow a traditional path but more because of the experience and step ups he'll get along the way. Fury vs Price is a great match for him.
Yeah........You have to be Einstein to figure that Fury would have no chance against Wlad.....so by Fury figuring this out.......he too is Einstein!atsch
The winner of the fight (Fury) shouldn't fight the world champion (Wlad) yet. He should defend it against Beijing Olympic bronze medallist (David Price) in the future (2012). Hopefully a fight with Harrison (Audley) is next because it'd get big attention especially on terrestrial tv (Channel 5). (Yes I am taking the ****) Welcome to the forum though
If Rogan got much left, tough, tough fight for Fury. He doesnt seem to have much power, and when Chisora rushed him, he was clueless what to do. One thing Rogan guaranteed to do is bring agression.
If his comeback fights are anything to go by, Rogan seems to have very little left. I would strongly favour Fury to get the better of him.
True, but he has the ... well size to get somewhere. He needs to cut out the crap (alcohol and food wise) and get some decent training, am i making things up or did Emmanuel Steward say he wanted to give him a go?
