What kind of BS is this ? Ranking fighters based on Hypotheticals is complete hogwash. You are literally judging Tyson Furys legacy based on events that never happened. Fcking silly

This is exactly what it was talking about.

Fury goes life and death with mediocre pillowfisted Cunningham and loses to Usyk twice but Ali can't win ? Gtfo

Almost every World level fighter lurches from colossally over hyped, to massively underrated, and sometimes back again, during their career. Until the dust has fully settled, I think it's impossible to rate either of them confidently. Probably top 30 minimum though - they are both very good, essentially elite, fighters.

Don't judge AJ yet. He could still become undisputed with careful management. How?
    1. Usyk beats Parker/Dubious and they do a voluntary against AJ. Usyk is getting old and only wins by a few rounds. AJ gets the decision.
    2. Usyk gets old and loses to Parker by decision. AJ gets Parker fight and wins again.
    3. Usyk gets old and loses to Dubious OR gets robbed in the UK. AJ gets Dubious fight and lands a bomb first.

AJ then becomes ATG above Lewis having a win over the better Klitschko brother and the first Ruiz fight is removed from YT and 'lost'.

Them fighting each other would help this question. Not fighting each other sinks both down.

IMO - Joshua has the better record against near-ish prime quality opposition.

I don’t rate Fury as an ATG HW but he wasn’t at his best yet vs Cunningham. He looks much more developed vs Usyk, which I think was his peak. His jab is way deadlier now, and his ranged uppercut has a lot of power.

Cunningham forced Fury on the front foot, it's why he looked bad. It was 2 years before Furys career best win. I do agree he got better but Ali is leagues above Cunningham

Yeah, Lewis is Top 5, Wlad is Top 10. I don't know if AJ and Fury would be Top 20.

H2H wise they certainly do. Outside of Lennox Lewis and Riddick Bowe I don't see many of the legends getting past their physical advantages, as they are both above average boxers and both have above average power.

Legacy and resume wise, it's hard to argue for either of them to crack a Top 15.

I'm not qualified to give an honest opinion
Although historians on here like to pretend to be all knowing, I only like to post in what I have watched first hand.
Just looking at HWs who have been active since the turn of the millennium
Would you rate one or either above any of the names below resume wise?

    W klitschko
