Yeah, I was his BIG fan in the 18-22 period. I was drunk singing American Pie by the river when he won that second Wilder fight. He put me off with his fake retirement and ducking Usyk.

I think Fury is a much better boxer than AJ, but the styles would favor Joshua here. Dunno, always felt like it, maybe I'm wrong, but Wilder would be more dangerous to him than Fury and he's the worst boxer of the three. I always liked AJ for fighting top competition. He carried belts with dignity. That's why I like the guy. He's a flawed fighter but at least he tried.

Yeah and that's why the fight fell through. I don't know, maybe Fury knew all along, but I'm not gonna automatically assume bad intentions.

I begrudgingly agree about AJ as a champ, but I think he's fake as f.... so could never support him, but yeah he has tried his best

Yeah what I like about AJ he mostly takes a challenge. Glad Fury eventually did step in the ring with Uysk twice tbf perhaps he was just trying to get as money as possible so delayed it.

Fury as a fighter was game tough and could box well using the best of his attributes (pre Sugar) Joshua going into a fight with a known puncher or in different surroundings could be a bit of a mental midget and lose the fight on the ring walk his face and actions never lied he simply does not have a poker face. Both have some good wins, Fury’s best wins on the road and Joshua’s best wins at home,Fury had a better will to win and Joshua had the better power, the way I see it Fury’s better boxing and his ability to travel would see him win more than Joshua would so despite not being sure where I would rank both I would certainly rank Fury higher .

Top 25-30. Maybe Fury squeaks into the top 20 if you're being generous

    Joshua prefered

    Martín
    Breazeale
    Molina
    Old Povetkin
    Takam
    Old Pulev
    Wallin
    Ngannou
    Helenius
    Franklin jr

The only fight for which I recognize him is old Wlad, in the rest he was always a 90/10 favorite against fighters who fit his style excellently and werent top 5 or top 10.

Fury Top 50 for sure but I dont know where inside Top 50, somewhere between 26 and 50. AJ is not Top 50...for the weird haters, neither is Wilder.

Fury fought and won against Wlad 90/10 Wlad favourite the same happened with Wilder 1 and 2 70/30.

Its clear Fury wasnt afraid of tough fights, his problems were others

After Fury has had his 300 pound Foreman comeback era KO'ing a Moorer type then easily Top 15.

I've certainly never said or thought that he is afraid of tough fights
    Far from

I do feel however that he likes things to be a certain way when he takes them like assuring he is ready and focused rather than just going into them at a set time

For example. The fights you are quoting are fights where Fury had everything to gain and nothing to lose
If he won, he wins world titles away, but if he loses he was an underdog willing to take a chance

When he had tough fights where he had something to lose (world title) there seemed to be delays
Rematch with Wladimir in the UK was delayed and didn't happen
First defense against Wilder was delayed
    Defence/unification with Usyk was delayed

That gives someone time to do things on their own terms and delay to suit them rather than taking tough defence after tough defence which creates more opportunity to lose or have slip ups

I don't think there was any delay in the defences against Chisora or Whyte that I can recall

It's not a slur as I rate him very highly and think he is an incredible HW
I am a bigger fan of Fury than I am Joshua but do think it must be tougher to make continuous defences against top 10 rated competition than pick and choosing the right fight at the right time, delaying and not defending the titles as often
If you see what I mean?

This is an outdated rhetoric mate. Heavies of today are apparently too big but usyk is same size as foreman and embarrassed the two so called super heavies.

AJ lost to an obese ruiz who is small, needed ref to keep Parker away from him and avoided anyone with a pulse or not old as ****.

fury lost to usyk, went life and death with Cunningham and lost to a fat John McDermott…
