    Can the new alliance between Fury and Joshua finally unite the warring factions on this forum? If this comes off I foresee posters entering a new age of co-operation and understanding with all roads leading to a British unification. A 'fight for the ages', the climax of this golden era of British boxing and the biggest fight ever to be made on British soil.

    @TonyHayers in a 'Big Dosser' t-shirt arm in arm with @Hattonmad in his 'AJ boxing' snap back. Lets get it on!

    AJ on Sky Sports saying he will help Fury with sparring in the lead up to the Wilder rematch and Fury accepting the offer.

    Can't see it happening...

    Sounds like a Wlad type move, get comfortable with the enemy in order to beat them. Maybe AJ has been getting some useful advice from the old boy. Can’t see fury entertaining that for a second.

    I has to happen. Joshua made a public offer and Fury has accepted. Whoever backs out now is going to seriously loose face. It will either be a good partnership and Joshua will end up carrying the union jack out for the ring walk or Fury will double cross him and send him home 'early'. Looking forward to hoe this one plays out.

    Joshua's Twitter will be vetted. He has a guy solely responsible for his social media output and another full time guy responsible for P.R. This was a business decision and I believe it is because Wilder is almost impossible to deal with. They are pushing for the Fury fight.

    If Fury and team are stupid enough to let Joshua and scouts spar him and better pick up his timing/patterns etc., and if he can't work out there is no benevolence going on here from Team Joshua, Fury deserves to lose advantage. You can argue he also picks up from Joshua, but he knows Joshua can KO him and doesn't have the same skills, what does he really gain. Joshua/Wilder both want to time Fury and KO him so it's better for them to pick up his patterns, I'd say. Fury is the trickier opponent to work out.

    Let's imagine if Wlad had sparred Fury a year or less before they fought. Wlad might have been better prepared for the style and found some more openings to land bombs.

    Fury's cockiness might get the better of him here, thinking nobody would ever work him out etc.

    Fury sparred Okolie last time in prep for Wilder and he is best mates with Joshua. As for patterns, Fury has no pattern and if you do manage to work it out he will just switch to another one. He will relish getting the psychological advantage over Joshua in the gym.
