"Tyson Fury" and his chances of Heavyweight Glory

I don't know Tyson personally, so I can't judge what he's actually like. But going by his public persona I find him to have no class, no respect and little decency in the manner he conducts himself on Twitter, at media events and how treats his opponents. He's like an immature, overgrown man-child indulging in awkward, forced, unnatural boastfulness.

But all that aside, I can comfortably now conclude that Fury has little chance of becoming a semblance of the fighter he claims he's going to be. Last night he was dropped and badly hurt by 36-year old cruiserweight with a measly 35% KO ratio.

He was hurt at least once more and it was failing of Cunningham that he didn't finish "Tyson Fury" off in the 2nd round, must world-level fighters certainly would have done. There is also the small matter of the two blatant fouls in the build up the KO; a push and then that weird face-palm manouver. So no only was the performance poor, but the manner of the victory tainted.

And despite what "Tyson Fury" said post-fight about "Cunningham was beaten by the better fighter" I actually think that's factual incorrect; Cunningham was beaten by the bigger fighter. Cunningham's repertoire and range of punches, his movement, and particularly his accuracy, was far superior to his opponents.

"Tyson Fury" last night showed that he has questionable punch-resistance, limited repertoire, and most damming of all, very little in the way of ring intelligence.

Okay, the division is ****. And "Tyson Fury" might go far by being less **** than everyone else, but the idea that he will beat Wladimir, Vitali or Haye, is, as things stand, patently absurd.

    Hes overweight,
    out of shape,
cant use his high or his reach
    no real defense
no real class to his shots
    thinks his better than Ali
    obviously doesn't train hard enough
doesn't seem to try to learn new things
relies on his ability to carry him to world level

That said he does keep winning but he has totally the wrong attitude and has absolutely no respect or class

But Klitshcko would absolute dominate him

Tyson Fury is his name why are you putting it in quotation marks?
As for the fight, a Fury win once again failed to answer any of my nagging doubts about his ability, he keeps winning but rarely looks good. He spent the first few rounds of the fight actively negating his own physical advantages, allowing USS to regularly close the distance down.
Quite what Cunningham is doing up at HW mystifies me he could still get a title at CW and is obviously chasing a big payday BUT if he can't beat a clumsy big man he won't lay a glove on a klitschko...

    Tyson Fury is funny.
    I think he's hilarious.
Of course he's full of ****, but he's full of **** in a non-offensive way, imo. I dunno, I like him.

People are forgetting how young fury ,he is extremely raw and his style is not for the purists however fury adds excitement to the division he is a throwback fighter who comes to fight his chances of glory depend on a couple of things
    1.the klitichos retiring
    2. Whoever he ends up with as a trainer not complicating things with him he does so many things wrong in he ring it would be impossible to get him to adapt and would confuse him IMO he has a decent jab ,power and a fighting spirit however due to his size and sometimes clumsy style he often ends up finding himself fighting at close range if his trainer could just teach to fight on the inside use his size and weight to advantage to tee up opportunities for openings so he could then unload his power shots accurately he would comfortably win and retain for quiet a while the hw crown in a poor division.
P.s for all those who used to shoot me down for stating fury was in a different league to price and that fury must fight price they are partly right , fury needs to fight price 4 times a day for 6x 3. Minute rounds (price would b an ideal sparring partner!)

    Negatives
    Weakish chin.
    Seriously crap defence.
    Inconsistent with his weight.
    Switches off during fight.
    Balance is poor.

    Positives
    Great jab.
Good power, not one punch knockout power like Price but enough to bludgeon his opponent and knock them out if he lands enough.
Moves around quick for a such a big lad, even if he has poor balance.
Is still very young, will only improve.
Can use his size effectively to tire his opponent as we saw last night.
Great heart and will get up off the floor.

Fury is the most entertaining heavyweight fighter on the planet INSIDE the ring, no doubt. His fights are like roller coasters. I still want to see him vs Price very much. Both have great strengths and HUGE weaknesses. I now feel that fight is definitely 50/50.

With Hamed that persona wasn't awkward, forced, unnatural and fake.

I'd put him in with whoever wins the Arreola fight next.

I'd give him another 2-3 big fights in America before he fights Klitschko because I can't see it going well if it happens yet.

The main thing about Tyson is his heart, you are going to need a lot to stop him and with his size he will eventually tire every smaller heavyweight.

Him vs Haye would be an interesting fight.

    What's so funny?

Price got hit by a freak shot. Fury got dropped by a CW who isn't known for his power. If Price landed that shot..

And besides, Fury is a terrible Boxer. Terrible.
