Says that Tyson was only 40-45% going into the Donkey fight and that he thought it was crazy idea to take it at that juncture and that he was dead against them doing so. I can confirm that regarding him being against it because I watched numerous interviews of his before the fight and you could tell he wasn't happy about them taking it. Said that Tyson was so physically weak he couldn't even bench press 60kgs and he only took the fight because it helped him distract his mind from his mental health problems. He touches on Tyson's mental health problems and apparently there's a long history of people suffering from them in their family Big John doesn't even speak to the people around Tyson now because he didn't agree with them gambling with his son's life and mental well being by taking the fight. Interesting stuff, and I agree that John Fury's true thoughts on the fight were detectable in pre-fight interviews. But I suspect John Fury's a bit pissed off at the fact that Tyson Fury and his promoters have chosen to make his career in America, where John Fury isn't allowed in.

Even Ben Davison and Big Shane Fury also wanted Tyson to have more fights before facing Donkey. But Big John was clearly not happy about it at all. Yeah I'm sure that probably plays a part too.
